It is said that April showers bring May flowers. We can hope that we get some of that rain as it is so des-erately needed. We are looking forward to our upcoming Pledge dinner on April 22 and your presence is desired for our GOLD RUSH. It will be a fun evening as we set our goals for next year by giving our church the financial support that is needed to look forward. Be generous! The theme this month is “Humor.” I’m not sure we have ever pickled that topic before but it’s good to have such an uplifting discussion. Saturday is April 1st - April Fool’s Day. Will that be foreshadowing of what’s ahead for us? It’s good to see that the Channing Channel has brought back the “15 Things about...” someone in our church community.
