Rev. Mark Christian

Third Sunday Speaker
Rev. Mark Christian, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, is a third generation Unitarian Universalist. He has served congregations in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and in Las Cruces, NM. He has previously served in several leadership roles for the Southwest Unitarian Universalist Conference and the Mountain Desert District ofthe Unitarian Universalist Association.   Mark is passionate about the future of Unitarian Universalism in Central Oklahoma.
Mark became Channing’s 3rd Sunday speaker in June of2017.  He often brings his guitar and includes singing in his sermons.  He is the only speaker who is also a member of the church.

Rev Donna Compton

Fourth Sunday Speaker
Donna holds a Masters of Divinity from Phillips University . She rovided regular pulpit supply for Channing Church from 1996 to 1999, and has been our Fourth Sunday of the month speaker since then. She served on the Executive Committee of Disciples Peace Fellowship for 10 years. She has recently retired from serving as a chaplain at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

Rev. Catherine Shearer

First Sunday Speaker
Reverend Catherine Shearer Catherine is an ordained minister for the Disciples of Christ Church and a licensed professional counselor. She is a pastoral psychotherapist in private practice working with individuals, couples, and groups.

Rev. Anna Holloway

Second Sunday Speaker
Anna has earned a Master of Divinity degree from Phillips Theological Seminary, with awards in Scriptural Interpretation and Practical Theology. Her ordination is from a non-denominational church tradition and she is currently pursuing ordination as a Disciples of Christ minister. She preaches from time to time at UU churches in Stillwater and Lawton as well as here at Channing.
