Welcome, September - There are certain things that we count on. September means a new school year begins. This year, even school is happening in an unfamiliar way. But, rather than looking back on the past few months, I’m looking forward. I’m counting on Nature to bring us the changing colors of the trees and cool breezes. I want to walk along a path, breathe in the smell the of the earth, and hear the rustle of the leaves beneath my feet. If these things are still possible in fall, I will be satisfied. Our Pandemic days are not yet over. We must remain vigilant and help others to be safe. We need to learn the lessons that today offers us while waiting for that first sign of autumn. Our church continues to have our Zoom services on Sundays at 11:00. We love to see the familiar faces. We welcome the new friends who join us. That is such a treat. May your September be filled with sweet thoughts and pumpkin spice.
