Lucy was born in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA on September 27th, 1933 where she spent her entirechildhood even graduating from Barbara High School in 1951. She attended Collège at The University of Redlands for 2 years then went on to nursing school at Stanford University, graduating in 1956. Besides the San Diego area, Lucy has lived in Virginia Beach, VA, and Japan where she worked for the Department of Defense at Yokosuk Naval Base. She moved to Edmond in 2006 where she joined Channing UU Church. At Channing we learned about Lucy’s love for everything Japanese andher gift of art. For many years, Lucy was the organizer for the Ladies’ monthly lunch group and an avid reader with the Channing Book Group.  Lucy had mastered the ability to do Zoom and was frequently an attendee of our services during the pandemic. She was an extraordinary woman and a great friend to all.
